Population

Due to the rapid growth in the Northwest Arkansas region, Fayetteville conducted a special census in the Spring of 2006. Official census figures indicate a population of 67,158 as of March 30, 2006. Annexation in the fall of 2006 resulted in an additional 1173 for a new total of 68,331.
