The Northwest Arkansas Mall is the premier shopping center and is home to 100 specialty stores, in addition to a food court and Dillard's, JC Penney and Sears department stores. The Center was recently renovated and expanded to provide an enjoyable shopping environment. The result - a variety of exciting new stores to give you fashion, fun and a great experience. Summer of 2005-2008 saw the addition of our newest outdoor entertainment facility on the Mall property, The Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP) with a schedule of top performers for the Summer Season. The adjacent Steele Crossing complex is continually expanding with offerings of new restaurants, theaters, hotels and retail stores with additional retail and office space ready for development. The new Shogun Restaurant on a hill adjacent to the Mall overlooking all of Fayetteville is an architectural masterpiece.

Some other notable shopping districts, both current and under development, include Dickson Street and the Underwood Plaza, the Downtown Square and One Center Street Building, Nelson's Crossing and Steele Crossing near the mall, The Mill District in South Fayetteville, College Avenue, Colt Square, Fiesta Square, 6th Street/Highway 62, and West Wedington/Highway 16.
